Once every year, the Victoria’s Secret Angel models festively strut their feeble bodies on national television. And because every straight man in the country makes sure to cancel poker night for the show, it’s always a ratings hit for CBS.
The fashion show topped all other broadcasts from the night with a 3.5 rating. Despite flaunting its way to the top, the angels fell 24 percent from last year’s show.
The lesser singing competition of the fall that doesn’t have Britney on it, The Voice, sang its way into second with a 3.4 rating among adults.
NBC’s new comedy hits Go On (2.5 adults) and The New Normal (1.7 adults) both had solid episodes, while Parenthood was down a tenth of a point to a 1.7 rating in the demo. With the help of these comedies and Adam Levine’s sexiness on The Voice, NBC was able to earn a 2.4 adults rating for the night and 7.3 million viewers.
Fox’s guardian angels must have all been at the fashion show, because every single one of its comedies experienced a drop in the ratings from the pervious week. Total, Fox brought in a 1.5 rating in the demo and 3.3 million viewers.
A boost of ratings in Happy Endings and Don’t Trust the B– in Apt. 23 helped ABC earn a demo average of a 1.4 rating for the night with 4.8 million viewers.
Oh yeah. The CW also made a cute try for the night, averaging a 0.5 adults rating and 1.6 million viewers.
In case anyone missed it, here’s the terrible Bieber performance at the
